With revolution releasing new products all the time, they have just released a collection of liquid highlighters that could give cover FX a run for their money as they are close to being dupes for their custom enhancer drops and for less money.

With a staggering 7 new liquid highlighter shades there is a wide selection to choose from, from a fun unicorn inspired shade to a beautiful rose gold shade. All shades can be worn with or without make-up, for a dewy look you can add it to your foundation or accentuate your high points by just adding it to the cheekbones, or go fresh-faced and add a small amount just to give you an extra glow.

The Shades
Out of the 7 highlighter's, only 6 of them are highly pigmented, unicorn elixir when applied is white but once blended in it is transparent and you are then left with the iridescent lilac and blue shift.

  • Starlight – Pale nude pink with silver micro pigment.
  • Champagne – Pale metallic gold with silver micro pigment
  • Unicorn Elixir – With iridescent lilac with a blue shift
  • Luminous Gold – White Gold with silver micro pigment
  • Rose Gold – Pink Gold with a silver micro pigment
  • Bronze Gold – Metallic bronze mixed with silver and gold micro pigments
  • Lustre Gold – Rose and Bronze combination with gold micro pigment

Formula, Application, Packaging

All the shades can be worn on all different skin tones but the darker ones can be harder to blend on fairer skin tones because they can leave a harsh line at times. The texture on all of them felt gritty, it was tolerable but may be different on sensitive skin. They last for a few hours and do end up eventually fading to nothing but I found by applying a small amount of highlighting powder on top can make it last longer.  From what I can see most of them have a silver gold combo micro pigment in them.

The bottle to the highlighters is glass, with the outer packaging being metallic it also resembles the colour of the product inside the bottle, which is then finished off with a rose gold screw on cap that has a pipette attached to it. It's sleek and nice and feels luxe because of the glass bottle.

Where to buy?
You can buy all of them from Superdrug in-store or online and from their own website TAMbeauty.
